This position is best suited for someone who thrives in a dynamic, detail and family oriented environment and enjoys solving complex logistics challenges with a global mindset.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Perform routine checks on base duty rates and communicate any updates to internal stakeholders.
      • Follow up on Canadian import quotas (TRQ) and submit permit requests in a timely manner.

      Operations & Administration

      • Manage billing, invoicing, and shipment entries within the enterprise system (Epicor Prophet 21 or similar).
      • Verify and reconcile service provider invoices (freight, brokerage, logistics).
      • Support non-conformance report resolution, including investigation and issuance of credits or adjustments.
      • Analyze freight market data (e.g., Drewry Index) and report on industry trends.
      • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and maintain updated SOPs.
      • Provide backup administrative support to the operations team as needed.

      Skills & Qualifications

      • Minimum 3+ years of experience in North American ocean import logistics, including hands-on experience managing U.S. import tariffs and ADD/CVD compliance.
      • Exposure to air freight and South American imports considered an asset.
      • Strong understanding of import/export processes, customs documentation, and freight coordination.
      • High degree of accuracy, organization, and accountability.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to interact effectively with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams.
