      THE OPPORTUNITY

      Join a leading CPG as a Senior Corporate Financial Analyst and ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS. This role also oversees annual planning, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for Free Cashflow and SG&A.

      WHAT YOU WILL DO:
      • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for key stakeholders.
      • Collaborate with FP&A and Shared Services Centre teams to provide deeper analysis and interpretation of financial results.
      • Oversee month-end closing, including journal entries, reconciliations, and report preparation using Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
      • Lead annual planning, forecasting, and monthly variance analysis for SG&A, Free Cashflow, and Working Capital, in partnership with department heads.
      • Present key financial KPIs and budget-to-actual variance reports to the CFO and ownership group.
      • Analyze balance sheet and operating results, investigate variances, and ensure timely and accurate entries.
      • Support ad hoc projects, including acquisition integration, process improvements, and regulatory reporting.
      • Assist with audits by preparing analyses, reconciliations, and acting as a primary point of contact.
      • Coordinate global intercompany reconciliations to improve efficiency.
      • Research and resolve accounting issues as needed.

      WHAT YOU BRING:
      • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with a focus in Accounting (CPA designation or near completion preferred).
      • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in auditing large companies at a public accounting firm (preferred).
      • Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) is a plus.
      • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
      • Detail-oriented and results-driven with a strong work ethic.
      • Effective team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
