      Our client, one of Canada’s largest and most successful professional services firms, is currently looking for a Platform Specialist to join their IT Team.

      This dynamic role is all about strategizing, analyzing, and unleashing the power of firmwide software systems across the Windows desktop, Server, and Citrix platforms. Our ideal candidate not only supports clients but also thrives on devising innovative solutions for mind-boggling software challenges, ensuring seamless business operations.

      You will play a very important role on various project based teams, as you guide and assist the team to understand the data integration process and ensure optimal outcomes, aimed at improving overall efficiencies across the organization.

      We are open and flexible to consider candidates with skills and experience in any combination of the following:

      • SQL SERVER: Expertise in installing and configuring SQL Server 2014-2022 on Windows platform, troubleshooting complex SQL queries and other development objects such as stored procedures, views, triggers, etc., expertise in SQL admin functions such as assigning security roles and maintaining backup and restore

       

      • POWER APS & IIS: Expertise in workflow and data integration solutions such as Power Automate, Intapp Integrate/Flow or similar solutions, Power Platform administration experience would be an asset. Experience supporting and administrating web-based applications (IIS)

       

      • APPLICATION INTEGRATION: Minimum of five years of experience with integrating/supporting different application architectures (e.g., Azure, client/server, multi-tier, SQL, Citrix, IIS/web, etc.) and the desktop productivity suite

       

      • OTHER: Ability to motivate peers by taking ownership and a leadership role in the completion of initiatives, Understanding of project management methodology as it relates to application deliver, A self-starter with the ability to deliver on tight deadlines and Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

       

      • Microsoft Office Specialist Certification and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist certification in application area of specialization are preferred
