      Our client, one of Canada’s largest and most successful professional services organizations, is looking for an experienced professional to join their dynamic IT team as a Power Platform Developer

      The Power Platform Developer will be tasked with planning, analyzing, developing and maintaining firmwide (global) applications.

      Primary responsibilities of the position include:

      • Introduce and integrate new business systems effectively
      • Manage and enhance the security, documentation, and configuration of the Firm's technology systems
      • Respond promptly to technical queries from peers
      • Escalate support issues requiring management's attention without delay, while proactively recommending and implementing process improvements
      • Share knowledge and expertise through creating training materials and conducting hands-on training sessions

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred
      • Minimum of two years of relevant experience in a professional services environment is required
      • Experience creating reports and dashboards with Microsoft Power BI, creating apps within MS Power Apps
      • Experience in creating workflows with Microsoft Power Automate
      • Expertise in developing and troubleshooting complex SQL queries and other development objects such as stored procedures, views and triggers as required
      • Expertise in SharePoint online
      • Exposure to Power Platform administration is an asset
      • Exposure to developing Web applications using the following is an asset: HTML, .Net, Framework, VS.NET, ASP.NET, ASP, JavaScript/JQuery, XML, CSS, HTML, Ajax
      • Exposure to database development is an asset
      • Ability to provide innovative business solutions that meet Firm business continuity and security standards
      • Ability to work effectively in a team or individually
      • Detail-oriented and willing to provide rigorous unit testing to ensure quality products are delivered
