- Project Manager
- Toronto - Remote OR Hybrid, Flexible (based on preference of candidate)

As a collaborative and encouraging mentor the Project Manager provides leadership and management in the delivery of high priority, high profile software development projects in this fast paced, SaaS company. Reporting to the CTO, the Project Manager will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to prioritize and manage software development projects efficiently.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Gather and validate software project requirements, collaborate with internal and external teams and stakeholders to develop comprehensive project scope, tasks and goals of the project
- Create schedules and project timelines with detailed work plans to track progress, assign resources (onshore and offshore teams of 50+)
- Drive scrum meetings such as daily stand ups, Sprint review or Demos, Retrospective, project kick-off and hand-off meeting with relevant stakeholders
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors
- Manage project budget and track milestones against planned delivery
- Create and maintain all project documentation including charters, schedules, risk and issue logs, meeting notes using MS Project, Excel, Word etc
- Communicate project status, issues, risks, etc., to all project stakeholders
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Assist the Manager, PMO/CIO/CTO and IT Directors on decisions
Required Knowledge & Experience:
- Must posses knowledge Agile and Waterfall Development Methodology
- Also, able to fuse best recommendations of different methodology to produce unique workflow tailored as per client needs
- Must posses good understanding of Software development Life cycle(SDLC).
- Specializing in software product development (SAAS and PAAS(if possible))
- Experience managing multiple dev teams (onshore and offshore 50+)
- Understands how to layout stories for development work for resources
- Experience managing project budgets
- Understands how to use JIRA and Confluence and must understand Bitbucket and Subversion DevOps
- Candidate must possess CAPM or PMP certification
- Candidate must have PSM or CSM certification
Nice to Have
- Some basic understanding of Java, Golang is a plus
- Previous experience in SaaS or PAAS
