    • Business Analyst/Business Systems Analyst (contract to perm) Hybrid (in office and work from home: Mississauga )

      Working for our client, a world leading Pharmaceutical company which operates in over 100 countries, as a BSA will be a key member of the IT team supporting the Canadian market. You will be part of the Solution Delivery team that is focused on delivering technology solutions to our business to help them make better business decisions. As a Business Analyst, you will have the responsibility for identifying options for improving business systems and bridging the needs of the business with the use of technology specifically in the areas of Process and Data Automation using Power BI. This position will be the liaison among project stakeholders to understand the structure, policies, and operations of the organization, and to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.


      • Work with the business on an on-going basis to provide operational consulting support and to understand their business in technical terms, identify on-going product and system improvements, and recommends existing global or customized solutions
      • Conducts requirements gathering sessions by interviewing Product Owners and Stakeholders
      • Participates in transitioning the requirements to the designers (Global and/or External Partners) and ensure a clear and complete understanding of the requirements
      • Identify and resolve gaps between new and existing business processes and applications and facilitate implementation of new business processes and modifications
      • Assists in Integration and Acceptance Testing, develop training and implementation material, assist in translating requirements into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, and user acceptance testing.
      • Provides project management function when these skills are not available in other project participants e.g., in small to medium size IT-related initiatives
      • Support IT Security Assessments specific to technical solution onboarding
      • Support the creation of business impact assessments and business readiness plans to understand impacts of changes on business units and roles
      • Own and document the following deliverables: User Requirements / User Stories System / process gaps/ Functional specifications/ Simple architecture diagrams (system integration, data integrations, etc.)


      • 5+ years of Business Analyst, Data Lead, or Business Systems Analyst experience (experienced with process design, mapping, etc.)
      • Experience with PowerBI and Reporting systems
      • Experience working with Global teams and managing off-shore resources for project delivery
      • Strong knowledge of quality processes, SDLC (Waterfall as well as Agile methodology), Review, Test, Configuration Management, Release Management, Defect Prevention
      • Good understanding of GXP and SOX requirements. Should have working experience in validation
      • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
      • Ability to write technical documentation
      • Proactive approach to problem solving
      • Ability to work in large and diverse teams
      • Ability to be a team player
      • Experience working in a globally distributed team
