      Our client is seeking individuals who are passionate about automated testing and take pride in the quality of their work.  The incumbent must be detail oriented, performance driven, and possess a deep knowledge of all aspects of automated testing. Reporting to the Manager of Quality Assurance, The QA Lead Automation Developer is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the products have adequate automated testing coverage and the deepest level of validation.

      The incumbent will drive the development of the new generation testing framework with friendly web UI based on Angular JS using Cucumber automation framework development. The Quality Assurance Engineer will work closely with the QA analysts, developers, DevOps and tech support engineers in order to deliver efficient testing solutions.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Analyze the testing needs and develop automated testing solutions by analyzing test strategies, test plans and test cases.
      • Create all the related and needed project documentation and provide accurate estimates for each project
      • Create and/or modify written test procedures, test scripts, test cases, test logs, and other test-related artifacts using approved processes and software tools
      • Develop new automation framework while maintaining new capabilities in existing frameworks
      • Develop modular and robust automated test scripts for GUI, API and back-end validations, by utilizing objects, exception handling, and other advanced automation techniques
      • Prioritize the execution of tasks and tests based on business requirements and risks
      • Manage risks, including mitigation and contingency plans
      • Perform and support automated testing activities using the appropriate tools and techniques, such as functional, integration, regression, performance, usability, installation, security and more
      • Design and execute SQL statements for database manipulation and querying
      • Manage defects in compliance to the established defects management process using tools such as Jira
      • Work with management to define and/or improve processes, templates and standards
      • Communicate results of automated testing efforts to management through the creation of reports
      • Install and configure software and test environments in preparation for test execution

      Required Skills and Experience

      • 5+ years of QA experience, knowledge of QA process, testing disciplines and methodologies
      • 2-3 years’ experience with developing automation framework development (MUST)
      • 2+ years’ experience with Cucumber automation framework development (MUST)
      • Proficient level of skill in Selenium, Java and Angular JS (MUST)
        • Additionally nice to have Jira, Zephyr APIs, Postman, JavaScript
      • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software development, or a related discipline
      • Knowledge of M365, Salesforce.com. Google, Amazon Web Services, Azure
      • Experience in mobile and responsive design automation in an agile environment
      • Ability to write complex SQL queries and analyze results to validate application functionality
      • Strong communication skills both oral and written
      • Excellent technical depth and troubleshooting skills
      • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills, organizational and multi-tasking skills

      Nice To Haves

      • Experience of XML, Linux, HTML, Perl, TCP/IP, C++/C#, Python, PowerShell, VMWare, client/server system
