You want to do work that matters.  We want to make that possible.

Our client is a technology company in the transportation space that's helping its clients reimagine how passengers travel in the future.  As part of their growth, the company wants to hire people looking for long-term careers as Application Support Analysts. So if you’re interested in a career in a fast-moving industry, then check this out:

      1. You’ll be put through a comprehensive training program to learn all about their application. (By the way you, you’ll make some lifelong friends as part of this).

      2. You’ll need to juggle many tasks, resolve tough customer applications problems (database issues, system configurations/setup, product functionality/business enhancement questions), create development “bug” reports, FAQs, and knowledge base articles.

      3. Another critical aspect of this role is installing standard upgrades/updates/patches/releases.

      4. Teammates are counting on you to be there every day. You’ve likely worked in a technical support environment, and you know how essential teamwork and commitment are to personal success. Some occasional after-hour support and occasional travel to client sites can be part of this role (all expenses for travel are covered and less than 10% of your time will be on the road – ALL travel is still on hold until a time it is 100% safe for us to do so again)

      5. Also critical to your success is customer-service excellence. You deliver customer and partner support like you expect to receive it.  You prioritize, balance, multitask competing issues with deference to urgency in order to keep customers happy.

          YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

      • 3 to 5 years of customer-facing technical application support experience is required
      • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma relevant to the information technology industry is preferred
      • Complex troubleshooting experience
      • Software and hardware experience in a Windows environment

MUST HAVE (if you don’t have these skills please have a peek at some of the other roles on our site)

      • Knowledge of Windows Server 2008/2012/2014/2016 and/or VMware
      • Extensive database knowledge (MS SQL and/or Oracle would be nice as well) is required (data integration)
      • Experience with SQL Server administration ex. Re-indexing, maintenance plans; troubleshooting performance issues
      • Strong communication skills, written and oral

      NICE TO HAVE

      • Basic SQL Query writing and comprehension is required
      • Experience with Crystal Reports or other ad hoc reporting tools a plus
      • Working knowledge of network infrastructure (DMZ, WAN/LAN, ODBC, etc.) is desired
