    • The Role: As an Account Manager you will develop and maintain strong professional relationships with customers and vendors, while maintaining the product pricing and (non-stocking) inventory levels.

      What you will be doing:

      • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers
      • Maintain Customer & Supplier information and intelligence
      • Perform Sales and Supply Chain analysis
      • Monitor Sales and Industry trends and take strategic action
      • Entry of customer Inquiries and supplier RFQ’s
      • Create and Maintain Item Masters
      • Expedite RFQ requests to ensure Quotation targets are met
      • Define Pricing Strategy, perform Pricing Analysis, and prepare Customer Quotations
      • Provide feedback to suppliers on all RFQ offers
      • Possess strong Negotiation Skills
      • Entry of Customer Orders and Purchase Orders
      • Management of all Sales Orders and Purchase Orders by confirming all Terms & Conditions and Technical Specifications in a timely manner
      • Expedite Orders with Suppliers and communicate shipment Priorities
      • Resolve shipping discrepancies with internal / external stakeholders and ensure the orders are maintained to reflect any resolution
      • Coordinate customer service issues related to claims with our internal quality and invoicing departments
      • Responsible for Account profitability
      • Maintain supplier cost lists and standard customer price lists
      • Maintain and update current customer and vendor contact lists
      • Work closely with colleagues to ensure all account objectives are met

      What you need to have experience in: 

      • You have a minimum of 5 years of professional work experience preferably in a similar industry (Industrial Products. Carbon & Stainless) via industrial distribution, international trade or manufacturing
      • You have a College Diploma or University Degree (preferably in Business or Engineering)
      • You possess the ability to work in a team environment and complete tasks within an established time frame
      • You possess the ability to multi-task and manage many competing priorities
      • You are a multidisciplinary self-starter with tact who can make decisions aligned with corporate goals and company brand
      • You are a change agent who brings passion to the role
      • You possess Strong Skills and Experience in the following:
        • Sales and Relationship Management
        • Customer Service
        • Order / Data management
        • Purchasing / Sales / Sourcing
        • Spreadsheet / Database management (especially MS Excel)
        • Enterprise Software (preferably Epicor Prophet 21 Commerce Center)
        • Communication / Analytical
        • Strong command of English, both Written and Verbal
        • Computer / Knowledge management
        • Organizational / Time management
        • Project Management

      Nice to Have: *ERP Software * Experience in Industrial Manufacturing or Distribution

      *Database tools such as SQL, Crystal Report
