    •  Director of Strategic Relations (Distribution Network)

       As the Director of Strategic Relations, reporting the President, you will be responsible for the development, expansion, management and improvement of the strategic dealer/reseller network.

      WHAT YOU WILL DO 

      Distributor Development - Work with Management to identify new target markets and find reseller candidates. Develop an onboarding process and corresponding materials. Work with Management and existing resellers to evaluate current areas of strength and weakness, as well as what can be done to address the latter. Assist resellers in providing better sales/support coverage within their territories by investigating and sharing best practices, as well as by determining training needs for distributors and third-party dealers and installers.

      Strategic Account Development - Develop a strategic accounts program together with Management, and in consultation with distributors, for clients to sole source the Company’s technology. Maintain this program, including annual pricing updates, as needed. Work with distributors to create and prioritize a list of candidates for the program. Participate in developing promotional materials pertaining to these prospects. Lead the sales process, including in-person and remote meetings, and coordination with distributors. Solicit feedback from existing strategic accounts, new accounts, lost accounts, and distributors. Report program success, distributor participation, and client/prospect feedback to Management.

      Proposal Content Library - Work with Management to develop and maintain a library of documents for individual and strategic account proposals, in keeping with company branding

      Business Development -Work with Management and distributor leads. Provide manufacturer-level sales support for distributors. Attend tradeshows, industry association functions and other events. Handle speaking/presentation opportunities.

      WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

      • Experience in building and managing a strategic independent dealer/reseller network
      • Experience working in commercial office space/industrial design or healthcare industries considered an asset
      • A passion for the tech industry is also considered an asset
      • SUPERIOR written, verbal and interpersonal skills
      • Persistent and diplomatic, relationship centric, self-motivated individual

      Travel Expectations - This position requires frequent air travel, potentially globally. Trips may average up to several times per month and will be of varying lengths. A valid passport is required.
