      Work for a brand leader within the CPG industry! This is an excellent opportunity to lead a complex manufacturing facility and a team of 30 dedicated individuals. You will oversee the entire maintenance service, including facilities and equipment, to ensure efficient and cost-effective production of quality products. This role will open doors to numerous opportunities for lateral and cross-functional growth within the company.

      ON A GIVEN DAY, YOU WILL:

      • Ensure the department's adherence to company policies and procedures
      • Manage plant-level capital projects in partnership with project managers
      • Develop, analyze, and submit annual budgets for the maintenance department
      • Select, supervise, and develop staff members under your supervision
      • Cultivate positive working relationships and promote continuous communication with unionized employees
      • Maintain a safe working environment and enforce safety protocols
      • Ensure equipment is maintained and operating according to company standards
      • Continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency proactively
      • Ensure timely completion of service calls and machine repairs
      • Evaluate impact and support the testing, productization, and release processes
      • Investigate defects, logging details, and following defects through their resolution lifecycle
      • Track development tasks in the application lifecycle management tool and provide relevant reporting when needed

       

      YOUR SKILLS INCLUDE:

      • Mechanical Engineering training or equivalent experience
      • Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in manufacturing, including leading a unionized work team
      • Display exceptional interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution
      • Demonstrate the ability to facilitate change as needed
      • Be knowledgeable about Microsoft Office and SAP PM software
      • Possess a track record of successful leadership
