      The Opportunity

      Working 100% remotely, the Mobile Application Development, Technical Lead you will be directly involved in the design, documentation, development, testing and deployment of mobile applications across our technology stack. This is a hands-on lead role, responsible for mentoring the engineering team (6) performance and domain knowledge. Working alongside product and design teams in an Agile environment, often collaborating with customer-facing teams to ensure customer concerns are addressed.

       What you will do in a day  

      • Drive the setting and adoption of technical, cultural norms and best practices as they evolve, serve as mentor to development team members (5 Developers and 1 QA)
      • Collaborate with Product Leadership on unifying technical and product strategy
      • Help cross-functional teams write robust, well-defined stories and high-quality code
      • Write user-centric front-end code, performant and scalable back-end code
      • Understand and contributes to quality assurance and deployment processes 

      What you bring to the table 

      • BS in Computer Science or other technology-related discipline or equivalent experience
      • 5 + years’ experience developing mobile applications in native Android and iOS environments; experience with overall mobile architecture
      • 2+ years’ experience working as a member of a cross-functional team operating in a Scrum/Agile environment
      • Expertise with one or more mobile languages: Swift, Objective C, Kotlin, Java
      • Expertise with one or more application architectures: MVC, MVVM, MVP, etc.
      • Expertise with several of the following aspects: RXJava, Retrofit, Dagger, map-based UI, API development, automated UI testing, Proficiency with unit testing frameworks
      • Ability to utilize Git for version control w supporting platforms i.e. Bitbucket / Github
      • Demonstrated mastery of mobile application deployment process
      • NICE TO HAVE - previous experience in leadership/management roles
