Working for a tech company, servicing the Aerotech space, in this role, you will design reports, debug applications and support current and future applications for your internal business partners (note: this role involves support and development – you will not spend 100% of your time coding).

      What you will do in a day:

      • SQL Report development (Adhoc and Scheduled)
      • Application development - Troubleshoot and fix bugs/user problems (C#)
      • Develop and maintain reporting tools (SSRS)
      • Produce clear development and user documentation
      • Work with end users to determine and document application requirements

      What you bring to the role:

      • Computer Science / Information Technology post-secondary education required
      • Web development experience (ASP, ASPX.Net, IIS) is a bonus
      • Application Development .Net, C#, VBScript, MS Access (C# primarily)
      • Relational Database knowledge MS-SQL Server (T-SQL) SQL Queries, MySQL DB
      • Reporting tools, MS-SQL Reporting services
      • A manufacturing background is a benefit
      • Demonstrated ability putting together user interfaces
      • High attention to detail
      • Visually focused content development
      • Effective time management skills to be able to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks
      • Independent worker with the ability to handle tasks with minimal direction
      • Strong communication skills
      • Service driven – approachable, able to deal with concerns effectively
      • Strong system, problem determination, troubleshooting and resolution skills
      • Ability to interact effectively with end users; strong written and verbal communication skills
