      The Senior Project Manager, as part of the Transformation Office, is responsible for the effective delivery and execution of transformation related projects. You will be accountable for planning, managing, leading and motivating a cross functional team to implement projects in support of the IT & S Digital Transformation Mandate. The project manager has the overall accountability to implement PM best practices and communicate with project stakeholders while managing several projects concurrently


      • Provide leadership and direction in planning, managing and implementing initiatives while working effectively and efficiently within the PMO methodologies and governance policies
      • Develop detailed project, schedule and resource plans and reports
      • Resolving and making recommendations on issues that challenge scope of the project
      • Manage and track project risks while actively driving mitigation strategies
      • Monitoring project progress, coordinating discussions and approval of corrective action plans
      • Reporting on project status, while highlighting critical issues for stakeholders
      • Building and managing multidisciplinary project teams
      • Managing stakeholder relations and communications to ensure that project delivery expectations are clearly understood and met
      • Driving and tracking change management work as project deliverables are rolled out
      • Ensuring project activities and deliverables adhere to internal PMO quality and standards
      • Providing clear direction and motivation to project teams
      • Assisting in the continuous evolution and improvement of the PMO best practices
      • Coach/mentor members of the team
      • Manage vendor relationships where applicable
      • Plan, Lead and Facilitate structured regular meetings: Kick off, Executive Steering & Project Status
      • Develop and maintain all project documentation (Project Plan, Issue and Action Logs, Risk Management, Project Status Reporting and Post Implementation Reviews)
      • Some travel may be required


      • PMP certification from PMI and/or 5+ years of relevant experience (Digital project experience an asset)
      • Demonstrated technical experience with Systems Implementation (financial systems preferred) SDLC and Agile methodologies
      • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively at multiple levels of the organization
      • Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills
      • Ability to organize and prioritize a wide range of tasks
      • Proven application of PMI principles
      • Demonstrated excellence in team management, interpersonal and communication skills
      • Ability to adapt to new ideas and changing business dynamics without compromising project integrity
