      OUR CLIENT is the leader in advanced-technology inline inspection technology and services for challenging pipelines.  They own the worlds most advanced underground robot technology, are highly-specialized and sought after in their field.

      They are looking for a Technology Supply Manager to join their multi-disciplinary team. In this role, you will be managing a team of technicians in Testing, Production, Inventory, Repair and Maintenance.  Their technology supply, operation and engineering teams are centred around identifying individual strengths, constant learning and development of skills that fosters an open and collaborative work environment. 


      ?         Plan and manage all activities for the Technician team (approx. 15 ppl and growing)

      ?         Efficient delivery of quality components and modules

      ?         Test for quality assurance according to data provided

      ?         Routine maintenance and refurbish of existing module, parts

      ?         Set purchasing target within a provided budget

      ?         Manage supply chain of components and assemblies

      ?         Reduce risk associated with obsolete and long-lead items through inventory

      ?         Provide quick turn-around manufacture of test rigs/prototypes

      ?         Test, repair, troubleshoot, maintenance and modify robotic modules

      ?         Organize and maintain lab facilities

      ?         Generate documentation, reports and other required documents as needed

      ?         Take personal responsibility for the quality, accuracy, and integrity of your own work and that of your team


      ?         Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Engineering Technology w a focus on project management and process is an asset    

      ?         5 + years relevant professional experience in a similar environment - manufacturing or engineering.  Experience managing or maintain a lab or shop

      ?         Experience managing a team including scheduling, coaching, mentoring etc

      ?         Very detailed oriented with excellent time management skills, including a good sense of scheduling

      ?         Strong hands-on technical skills and ability to read drawings, blueprints and schematics

      ?         Able to take initiative, work independently and manage multiple projects in a timely fashion

      ?         Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with CAD (SolidWorks) is an asset

      ?         Thrive in a cross-disciplinary team-based environment

      ?         Strong work ethic and ability to work calmly under pressure

      ?         Machine shop / fabrication and electro-mechanical assembly experience and a knowledge of electronic circuits is an asset

      ?         An interest or background related to robotics is an asset.
