      WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

      Our client, based in Richmond Hill, is a team of IT experts who design and implement the most effective IT solutions for any enterprise in every industry. They connect business to IT and allow their clients to focus on their core business.  As an Account Manager, you will be a ‘hunter’ who enjoys the challenge of business development and closing the sale.  There is no assigned territory, so you are open to target both Canada and the US.           

      WHAT YOU'LL DO IN A DAY:

      • Conduct sales activities including prospecting to develop opportunities in mid to large strategic accounts
      • Generate revenue from inbound leads by identifying accounts in new markets and profiling targeted accounts
      • Build and strengthen the business relationship with current accounts and new prospects to develop new revenue streams and ensure client retention and satisfaction
      • Develop a comprehensive knowledge of the company's products, industry characteristics, and competitive environment and is able to effectively communicate to customers and senior management
      • Work with customers to develop and execute a strategic business plan focused on driving new opportunities
      • Liaise with the inside sales team to coordinate and direct sales activities
      • Maintain relationships with customers during the project lifecycle to ensure satisfaction of the project
      • Work with team to ensure accounts payable by customers are made
      • Meet and exceed quota expectations
      • Prepare activity and forecast reports for management
      • Coordinate with Marketing to develop and execute events as required

       WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:

      • Minimum 3+ years of inside and outside sales experience in IT field
      • Familiar with IT technologies, especially around Cisco technologies
      • Excellent interpersonal skills with experience in generating sales through cold calling and prospecting
      • Great negotiation, presentation, collaboration and problem-solving skills
      •  Strong knowledge in Professional Services and ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
      • Solid verbal and written communication skills with the ability to give presentations both one-on-one and in group setting
      • Excellent organization and time management skills and experience working in an entrepreneurial, fast paced environment
      • Innate and overwhelming desire to sell
