      WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

      The Senior Specialist will be accountable to plan, implement, and deliver solutions to meet business and IT needs. You will meet with stakeholders to determine requirements, develop and pilot potential solutions, manage stakeholders through testing, and manage department and/or organization-wide deployment of successful pilot solutions. In addition, as the Senior Specialist you will be responsible to document solutions and processes, train users, and seek out continuous improvement opportunities.

       WHAT YOU'LL DO IN A DAY:

      • Meet with business and IT stakeholders to understand organizational needs with regards to information management and process optimization
      • Propose and design processes as well as technology solutions to business and IT needs
        • Technology solutions will primarily utilize Microsoft Enterprise tools, especially the Office 365 suite of products and SharePoint Online
      • Develop pilot solutions and processes, leading stakeholders through structured programs to determine feasibility
      • CHAMPION your solutions through education, communication, launch plans, training and documentation
      • Document all aspects of proposed processes and solutions
      • Develop, plan and execute full deployments of successful pilot programs
      • Develop, facilitate and deliver training for deployed solutions
      • Provide ongoing administration of deployed solutions
      • Responsible for general project management

      WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:

      • 5+ years’ experience in a Systems/Business/Project Analyst or related role
      • A university degree in Information Technology or equivalent
      • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft ecosystem and hands on experience with
        • SharePoint Administration and development
        • Office 365 Administration
        • Active Directory
      • Experience and proficiency in project management and tracking
      • Experience in initiatives migrating information between systems. Examples:
        • SharePoint on premise to SharePoint Online
        • File shares to SharePoint
      • Advanced and proven group facilitation skills in both in-person and virtual learning environments to employees and/or leaders
      • Strong ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
      • Manage multiple simultaneous projects in an environment requiring co-operation, coordination and flexibility to meet objectives
      • Advanced written and oral communication skills; with attention to detail to ensure quality and accuracy in all aspects
      • Strong troubleshooting skills; ability to quickly analyze, understand and synthesize complex issues or situations and to make sound and creative recommendations
